Aquatherapy
A small group program designed to alleviate any aches and pains that those dealing with a disability may have. This class also teaches basic swimming skills! Numbers are kept low in order for a more focused and individualized class can be accomplished. (Space is limited, so register early!)
Seasonal program: offered in the Spring and Summer
Schedule: Monday and Thursday at 5:30 p.m.
Equipment: Lift into the pool, 5-7 aqua bar floats, 5-7 wonder boards.
Staff: One life guard and one certified therapeutic recreation professional (preferably experienced in aquatics).
Getting the word out: Post flyers at local community centers, churches, health care providers, colleges, and any group homes in the area. Send out a post on social media.

Dance the night away!
This is a monthly special event that the Ultimate Hotspot hosts in one of the Multipurpose rooms. The event is aimed to help improve social skills for those that may have a cognitive disability which inhibits social skills. This is a very popular event because not only is it a social with refreshments and a DJ, but there is also a dance instructor that helps teach fun dances like the YMCA, Cupid Shuffle, Electric Slide, and many more! The dance instrutor helps those with all disabilities learn these dances at slow paces with a great attitude!
Drop-in program: hosted every third Thursday of the month from 7:00-9:00pm.
Equipment Needed: Stereo, Tables & Chairs
Staff: Dance instructor (significant experience with people with special needs)

Special Olympics
This program is offered twice a year. Once in April and then again in July. It takes place in the Ice Rink, called the Ice Box. This is a program that is to make the or parents that do have disabilities to feel special.
Drop-in program: Third Saturday in April and July at 7pm
Equipment Needed: Skates, helmets, pads, and walkers
Staff: 3 judges (that have an experience with skating and have judged before)

Wheelchair basketball
This program is offered twice a month. The first Saturday of every month and the Saturday two weeks after that. It is offered at the basketball court. This program is made for persons with disabilities who have wheelchair accessibility.
Schedule program: The first Saturday of every month and the Saturday two weeks after that at 7pm.
Equipment Needed: non motorized wheelchair. Basketball and basketball nets on the court provided.
Staff: 3 referees (one who has an experience with wheelchair disabilities and other with basketball experience)

Folf Disc Club
This monthly event, is aimed at creating an opportunity for those with special needs, disabilities and wheelchair accessible. This is an exciting new program/sport that allows all participants to challenge themselves, by learning a new activity. Come on out, bring family and friends and learn the fundamentals of the game, such as how to throw and putt a disc golf.
Schedule: Every first Monday of the month, 5:00 - 7:00
Equipment: baskets, discs, folf club adaptive disc golf launchers.
Staff: Needs experience with T.R. patients and disabilities, preferably three to five full time staff.
