Dear Ultimate Hotspot Board of Directors,
With your support, we would like to request the development for a public organization – The Ultimate Hotspot. The Ultimate Hotspot is an island getaway – inside. Our mission is to provide a safe, fun facility where families and people of all ages can come to make lasting memories. We strive to facilitate a genuine recreational experience in any season.
The Ultimate Hotspot will be built in Champaign, Illinois. Illinois has a need for our facility because there are no indoor multi-use recreation facilities that are open to the public and include a water park less than 300 miles away. Individuals that will benefit from our facility in each city we market – Champaign IL, Bloomington IL and Indianapolis IN are young adults and youth. More than one-third of each population are under the age of 24 and more than 40% of each populations are “households.” Also, our target market includes families with children. These groups add up for only these three cities, not even our entire market, which equals around 73% of the population.
Many programs at the Ultimate Hotspot have been designed as seasonal, drop-in, scheduled, and adaptive programs. The Beach Hut will be available for forgotten items such as swimsuits, snorkels, floating devices, and so much more. The Rent House will provide items needed to be rented such basketballs, volleyballs, skates and other sport equipment. Concessions include: Smashburger, Subway, Auntie Anne’s and Jamba Juice. Ready to go party packages, Create Your Own Party and Fun Fitness Classes will be available in the multipurpose. Mommy & Me Mornings, Catch Me if You Can, Move Your Noodle and Learn to Lap will be available in the aquatics center. Tennis programs for all ages, Adult Ultimate Frisbee, Biddy Soccer League and Open Target Range will be available in the field house. Basketball Workout, Youth Basketball, Adult Open Gym and Competitive Co-Ed Basketball will be available on the basketball court. Learn to Skate, Hockey, Public Skate, One-on-One and Power Class will be available in the ice rink. Also, Aquatherapy, Dance the Night Away, Special Olympics, Wheelchair Basketball and Frolf Disc Club will be available for special needs.
The construction of the Ultimate Hotspot will begin May 2014 and be completed by June 2015. To market the Ultimate Hotspot, we will use connections within our 300-mile radius such as Boys & Girls Clubs, Girl Scouts, YMCAs, Recreation Centers and many more chosen based on the similarity our mission statements and core values. Newsletters, flyers, radio and television advertisements will be used as well as social media including Facebook, Twitter, and Linked In.
If enough information was not provided, please take the time to review our 1) executive summary; 2) research; 3) program plan; 4) schematics; 5) ADA plan; 6) LEED certification; 7) operating budget; 8) human resources plan; 9) risk management plan; and 10) marketing products. Much thought and effort has been put into the Ultimate Hotspot. With your approval, we believe the Ultimate Hotspot can be widely publicized and successful. We will be pleased to hear your decision on our plan, which we believe will be a great asset to the community and the state of Illinois.
Yours Truly,
Development Team of the Ultimate Hotspot
